Home ยป About Me

My life and career have progressed in fits and starts. Starting out in the Electrical Engineering program at Southern Methodist University, but I graduated with a double major in Philosophy and Religious Studies. Seminary came to an abrupt halt shortly after that. More about what came after that is here.

I married and joined the USAF in 1984, from which I retired in 2004 after a career as a pilot. Then I retired as program analyst with the Department of Veterans Affairs in 2020. I’ve been married 40 years, and we have three grown daughters and four grandchildren.

I’m now a freelance writer, poet, and productivity author. My books are about using different productivity tools with David Allen‘s Getting Things Done methodology.

When I am not writing, I enjoy travel, reading and watching British crime dramas with my wife. As of this writing, I am a Level 8 Local Google Guide where I share reviews of sites, restaurants, and coffee shops during my travels.
